6 Tips to Optimize Your Social Media Profile
Profile picture
Is it legible and decipherable across all platforms? Is anything cut off? How does it look in the smallest format, like next to comment or on a post?
Tip: Does your brand have an icon or submark? Since the profile image always appears with your name, we like to utilize this simplified format for this use.
Profile Bio / Description
This is a great place to put your Brand Statement. You want to really clearly state what you do and who you do it for in a way that connects with your target audience.

Are your photos optimized for the feed and the grid?
Tip 01: Make sure you are using the recommended sizes for the platform.
Tip 02: Ensure that nothing important is cut off when they are cropped square for the grid.
Clear call to action

Tip: We like to use a strategy of problem + solution when crafting our content. Clearly lay out the problem, how you solve it and have your CTA invite them to solve it with you.
Link in bio/contact info
Since Instagram doesn't allow you to post links in captions - make sure the link in your bio is up to date and relevant. Also, contact info is something that you want to periodically check to ensure that your most current information is available to potential clients.
Tip: You can use a platform like Canva or Linktree to make a link that includes more options. Or talk to us about a custom link page on your website!
Hashtags

Tip: Think of hashtags like search terms. What would your client/customer be searching for in order to locate your business/organization?
