Sex trafficking is widespread and it’s happening in Lancaster County. As awareness of sex trafficking increases, more trafficking rings are taken down and more women are freed. But they’re not really free. Homeless, traumatized, and addicted, most end up back on the streets. They need immediate help, as well as long-term solutions.

Through its restorative program at The Harbor, North Star Initiative, provides 24x7 shelter, services, and support to survivors of sex trafficking. As one of the few restoration homes in the entire region, they are uniquely positioned to help many more survivors return to the community and enjoy a life of sustained independence. The Survivor Center Capital Campaign raised funds for a new building that would serve as day services to serve survivors who did not require housing and increase their occupancy by 80%.

HOW WE DID IT ↓

We worked closely with staff and a committee to develop collateral that would utilize storytelling, clarity on the problem, solution, and visualizing the numbers that help it all make sense. It's our honor to play a small role in NSI's fight for freedom, for life, forever for the survivors of sex trafficking. We'd love it if you'd take a few moments to learn more about their mission, their aspirations for the future, and how you can join the fight.
